GameCamp
GameCamp Edmonton’s monthly events are open to all professional, indie, hobbyist, student, and aspiring game developers, as well as people who are working in other technology and creative fields and are interested in learning more about the game development industry in Alberta. While GameCamp’s main community focus is based in Edmonton, we welcome anyone and everyone who is interested in being a part of our community, even if they’re outside of Edmonton!
This month, we’re welcoming Chris Entwistle (Head of Game Product, Artificial Agency), who will be recounting his “Adventures in Game Development” – The things you see along the way, a collection of personal experiences and the lessons they taught him on what it takes to create top quality game experiences.
This event is being hosted at the Stanley Milner Downtown branch of the Edmonton Public Library in Community Room 1 (in the basement)! After the talk, we will move from the library to Underground Tap and Grill just down the street for networking, catching up, and mingling!
As always, this event is free for anyone and everyone to attend, though please note that space is limited so RSVPs are required. If you plan on coming to both the Talk and Underground for networking, please sign up for the Talk + Networking/Dinner ticket so that we can let the restaurant know how many people to prepare for ahead of time.
